I’m Amanda Fernandez, the owner of MND Beauty, your beauty specialist and licensed esthetician. First let’s bring you way back to where my journey in the world of beauty began.
Back in my senior year of high school when I really started facing the reality of having to go to college. I was terrified to go down a path I knew would never be fulfilling. I had no focus in school and the thought of going to pay for a college education that meant nothing to me was honestly dreadful. So I began my research to find something so much more than just the average education and completely stumbled upon my passion in beauty.
The moment I graduated I began driving over two hours day to and from a school dedicated to Makeup Artists. I was training hands-on for 6 hours a day under incredible celebrity artists like Marietta Carter-Narcisse, Lee Grimes, Jay Cannistraci, Sher Saltzman and so many more. From that moment on I honestly have never gone a day thinking about what I wanted to do with my life.
Today I am so grateful to say I have been completely engulfed in the beauty industry for over 10 years. Training and performing as a medical esthetician to improve each one of my clients unique skin and framing beautiful faces by shaping eyebrows. I have worked as an artist on editorial, fashion, and lifestyle photoshoots for modeling agencies (e.g., Next Models, Wilhelmina Models, Select Models, The Industry, DollHouse Management and more) As well as a promotional makeup artist for brands like Bobbi Brown, Mac, Nars, Pat McGrath and Charlotte Tilbury.
I truly love helping everyday people not only to look and feel beautiful but teaching them how to create something beautiful for themselves.
